SAILOR JERRY & NIGHT & DAY CAFE PRESENT JERRY LOVES…
Night and Day Cafe alongside Sailor Jerry bring you a monthly showcase of bands we love to bits. What’s more, everyone coming to the show gets a free Sailor Jerry and mixer courtesy of the fine folks at Sailor Jerry.
THE AMBER LIST
If The Amber List were furniture, you might describe them as pre-loved. Formed in March 2017 in a Works Unit Only layby on the M6, the four band members have clocked up many music miles between them, and so knew they were onto a good thing. Peppered with harmonic interludes and touched with atmospherics, their songs range from 60’s folk-tinged ballads to indie pop. We visit Planet Skiffle by way of the Great Barrier Riff.
24 year old Solo Artist from Warrington. Jack released his 2nd EP ‘Higher’ in January 2018, with all 3 tracks played multiple times on Amazing radio and BBC Introducing, and featured on ‘Gigslutz’, ‘Fresh on the Net’ and ‘Unsigned Music Awards’. Jack supported Rae Morris at King Tuts Wah Wah hut and last year played a string of successful solo and band shows including Live at Leeds Festival, Warrington Festival, Manchester Academy 3 and supported a sold-out HANOVER gig at Sound Liverpool.
”Fans of Miike Snow and Tom Odell – take note” ”One to watch for 2018” BBC Introducing
Olly Thornton and his band are an old school/indie/acoustic style line up. The songs the band have wrote are for a wide variety of audiences. A little bit for everyone. So much so they gained airplay on BBC Introducing.
With Olly’s debut EP ‘The Empire’ coming this summer they can’t wait to show everyone the tracklist.
The first single from the EP is out now, this is called ‘Feeling It With You’.
For fans of Jake Bugg, Richard Hawley, The Kooks and Catfish and the Bottlemen.
Café Spice are an indie-folk trio who weave stories and adventure out of three part harmony and unforgettable songs. Imagine Crosby, Stills and Nash meets Joni Mitchell. Or if The Staves had a jam with Fleet Foxes.
