SAILOR JERRY & NIGHT & DAY CAFE PRESENT JERRY LOVES…

Night and Day Cafe alongside Sailor Jerry bring you a monthly showcase of bands we love to bits. What’s more, everyone coming to the show gets a free Sailor Jerry and mixer courtesy of the fine folks at Sailor Jerry.

OLLY THORNTON & THE SHIRTS

Olly Thornton & The Shirts are a 3 piece indie/old school/pop band. The songs the band have wrote are for a wide variety of audiences.  So much so that the leading track from the newly realeased EP ‘THE EMPIRE’ was played multiple times on BBC Introducing. With a great dance-a-long live tracklist, the band are one to get up and jig with. For fans of Jake Bugg, Richard Hawely and The Kooks.

DEAD SLOW HOOT

Bittersweet, anthemic, melancholy alt rock made in Sheffield.

Dead Slow Hoot combine poetic lyricism with rich musical textures and sparse sonic landscapes to fill your ears with melancholy musings.

“Frontman Hugo Lynch delivers powerful, poignant vocals that culminate into an impressive mix of reverb drenched guitar riffs, dreamy melodies and energetic drums that will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand to attention and demand more.” English Rain Records

“Sounds like a haunting version of the Doctor Who theme if it were written by Danny Elfman and directed by Tim Burton as a glam rock opera.” Backseat Mafia
