THE NIGHT & DAY SHOWCASE
TSARZI is the solo creation of multi-instrumentalist-slash-mastermind Sarah Sharp. With a riot of piano, synth, guitar and layered harmonies, her songs run the gamut from punchy pop to melancholy ballads.
Her unique style of eccentric pop brings together everyday stories with catchy tunes and wry, witty lyrics. She has been compared to artists as diverse as Kate Bush, Amanda Palmer and Jarvis Cocker.
She won the South Yorkshire Filmmaker’s Network 2Weeks2MakeIt competition 2017 for her music video ‘Ornaments’, about a man who doesn’t get out enough and featuring some psychedelic rubber gloves.
Fun, silly, and deadly serious, TSARZI is the antidote to the banality of modern existence.
