THE NIGHT AND DAY SHOWCASE
THE HIGH CLIMBERS
“Fun, noisy, synth-drenched alt-folk-rock-gaze-fusion loveliness, hitting the road with the addition of a shiny new rhythm section. Sounds like Mercury Rev fighting Neil Young.” Liquid Library
Four piece band from Blackburn with hard hitting drums and punchy guitar riffs. The Illicits have more of a gritty feel than your typical indie band, with a nod to Manchester bands gone by.
Poignant, playful and heartfelt compositions rooted in issues of mental health, family, mortality and womanhood. Kate performs in various incarnations, both at the helm of full-band performances or with other projects around Bristol.
