THE NIGHT & DAY SHOWCASE
4 piece Atmospheric Indie Rock band from the North of England!!!
4-piece melodic ‘vintage’ rock band from Brighouse, W.Yorkshire. formed by lead singer George Jenkins and Drummer Robert Mulhall in their last year of school, the band were early influenced by 60’s British invasion and 90’s brit-pop, and started creating songs around a catchy chorus and distorted guitar solos. They have played hundreds of gigs over 3 years to craft a sound that represents them distinctively. They have recently cited Squeeze and XTC as major influences in their new material, constructing a merge of New Wave and Traditional Rock ‘n’ Roll. The group are named after a theory by Psychiatrist Eric Berne explaining the way individuals have different egos, which are present in friendships, families and in this case Rock N Roll Bands. The lads have been gaining a following from cities around the north of England over the past year. With three singles gaining 100,000 streams since a year of their first release ‘Overthinker’; a 500 sell out headline show and a spot on the Main Stage supporting Jake Bugg and The Cribs at Bingley Music Live, Ego States are a group to watch out for.
