NILE MARR

‘Are You Happy Now?’

Having toured the world with Hans Zimmer’s live band for over a year, Nile Marr returned to his hometown of Manchester to work on his new album. The guitarist, singer and songwriter, son of legendary Smiths guitarist, Johnny Marr, grew up in Manchester but also spent time in Portland, Oregon, after his family moved there when he was in his mid-teens.

Having been brought up on the likes of Modest Mouse, Talking Heads and Broken Social Scene, Nile’s influences were there for all to see on his critically acclaimed debut album ‘TV Broke My Brain’. Released under the name Man Made in April 2016, Nile and his band spent a year on tour transforming themselves into an accomplished live force.

Now, in advance of announcing details of his forthcoming new album, Nile has put together a series of new live shows on May 02, May 09, June 04, June 11, June 18, June 25

Tickets are on sale now at Ticketweb and from Nile’s website: nilemarr.com

Nile will later announce some very special guests to join him at each of the shows during the 6-show residency. Details will be made available to those who follow him online, links below.
